a side-debate, but one of the reasons Occupy has petered out (besides media/police efforts) was the absence of a set of definite priorities, easily expressed.

We live in a nation where doctors destroy health; lawyers, justice; universities, knowledge; governments, freedom; the press, information; religion, morals; and our banks destroy the economy. -- Chris Hedges

it never died, it just morphed.  When it got cold, it got really cold, so we started occupying foreclosures.  We're still doing it.  If you're poor, there's a roof and heat, and someone will feed you.  So far we've stopped a half dozen evictions, and gotten some news coverage.  The mayor stopped sending cops, and banks now have to negotiate with us.    One issue, simply communicated, as you said.  This could be copied anywhere.  Google rapper Brother Ali, who got arrested with us.
