Get ready to fight the 1% and their allies.  I left this comment on another thread. List of federal agencies to contact - with links embedded. We need to flood all the ones who deal with environmental issues. And all the congress critters you can. The link at the end (I was getting paranoid the comment would disappear in cyberspace) is for USA gov. Contact elected officials site. Includes states.

It's past time. Delaying any longer just postpones the inevitable and will make it worse. The companies who convinced themselves they would never be stopped and the threat is not enough to need to, are just going to have to deal with the risk they took on these investments. I'd rather spend money out of the Pentagon/Intel/Defense industry subsidies budget to offset the job losses than let them keep putting heavy metals into the air and destroying the habitat.

Agathena's excellent 2/15 diary:  Forward on Climate: The Tar Sands Ecocide NEEDS the Keystone XL!

Media Matters  2/14/13  5 Myths About Keystone XL, Debunked.  I've used some of the direct links to CBO, Cornell U, etc. for places where Media Matters would immediately discredit the link.
