We'll take into account your issues.  Me and Augustin are working diligently to collect data and information.  The 1st Congressional District of Texas is one of many districts that will be covered.

The goal is to allow Kossacks to have all available information on districts present so that if long-term planning is made, regardless of how deep red the district is, we will be able to figure out how to strategize.  I'm not suggesting Texas' 1st Congressional District will get much of any credible Democrats in 2014.  This information is just for reference for whoever needs it but periodically, we in the Knowledge Democrats will look into collecting more information.

The bottom line is, we need to stick it to the donor base of the GOP and make sure they have no voice, PERIOD.  The only way we can do that is if we start assessing the districts we don't normally target and start careful planning.  Often times, Kossacks don't actually spend time going into districts and objectively collecting information.  This happens in the career field of IT business analysis but never in politics, at least not if say you not a reporter.

aka the Piney Woods, mostly. Lufkin/Nacogdoches up to Longview, over to the Louisiana border. I-20 runs through it about 2/3 of the way up from the South end.

      Picture Map --
It's not as much agricultural as logging industry. The climate there isn't a lot different than Shreveport/Bossier in Louisiana (aka Western Vietnam). Not a wealthy district. Populous, considering.
