    for the people who don't think or go beyond what they are given to read, watch, or hear in the media...it's fear driven.  Those in power supply the fear through the media on purpose, and the non-questioning public eats it up.  Because life is boring, and fear is something a person can sink their teeth into, talk about, worry about, blah, blah, blah.  It's human nature..fear of possibilities.   To those in charge,  it's a basic grab for power, money, and most of all dwindling resources.  If you keep the people in line with fear on the north end, they don't see the large looming problem of not enough resources on the south end.  Not to even mention climate change that will rob us of even more resources.  I think war is an easy way to grab more of what the rich need to sustain their lives going forward, stealing from those in the world who have even a little something to give.  It could be tangible things, or even intangible, like American freedoms.
