    which is how were they going to have their war with Iraq if the, er, lucky coincidence of 9/11 had not taken place. We were shown how they used 9/11 as the pretext to do what they had intended to do from the start of the administration, and that 9/11 is what made it possible for Americans to support a war of aggression.

      election.  It was obvious that the Bush advisors that Romney surrounded himself with were champing at the bit to invade something, anything, in the Middle East.  Romney showed his hand when the Benghazi news broke, and immediately he was bashing Obama for an announcement the consulate had put out while they were still under attack.  It then became abundantly clear to me that the biggest thing about Benghazi that chapped the rethugs' asses was that it happened when they weren't in power!  They were spoiling for a fight.  I started saying to my friends, "You mark my words, if Romney gets elected, the first time two dogs get into a fight anywhere in the Middle East, he's gonna launch an invasion."
