    that have carved up Iraqi oil means very little to their Owners, whose money knows no national boundaries. The important point is that money that used to be controlled by Saddam and his buddies is now controlled by the global Owner class. That was the intended consequence of the Iraq War on the oil side.

    But the main effect was to give a huge shot in the arm to the MIC and the military contractors (such as Cheney's Halliburton), and to create an enduring enemy ("Terrorists") that replaces the Soviet Union and will continue to profit the Owners for decades.

    No wonder they hate Bradley Manning and Julian Assange; the Arab Spring wasn't in their plans. They don't want peace and democracy to break out in that part of the world, they intend for it to be at war "forever". And you can be sure they will work to keep it at war.
