Does it seem that the punishment of Joe Wilson was a  bit extreme?

From Bush and Cheneys perspective the guy had a big mouth, why risk the entire Brewster Jennings front for anti proliferation efforts, loose nukes, WMD's etc?

3 agents, Brewster Jennings cover, died in Iran. The entire loose nukes program was a sacrificial lamb, DOA, all of it.

    Insert this:

Bush and Cheney knew there weren't any WMD's in Iraq, wouldn't they have planted something?

A tanker truck with VX was stopped in Turkey, headed for the Iraq border by a 3rd party who alerted the Turkish Authorities. If that 3rd party were Brewster Jenning agents....

Then Brewster Jennings was responsible for thwarting the Bush & Cheney plan to plant WMD's in Iraq.

But wait... Brewster Jennings is the CIA, Directorate of Operations probably. Was Bush and Cheney sending a direct message to the CIA, dont fuck with our shit?

I got a chance to ask Ray McGovern about this, his only comment was along the lines of

My friends and I thought that Bush and Cheney would plant WMD's in Iraq, since they knew there were none.
