      International testing is a tricky business with more variables than most assume.

      Blanket statements about US kids being dumb because the schools are bad both ignores many of the actual problems (such as poverty) while shifting all the blame to the US public school system itself, which in the eyes of most Americans is synonymous with teachers.

      So...don't do that.

        I poked fun at a stupid ass bill.

        I'm well aware of ESL, poverty, and other issues.

        I also think believing in science is a great way to improve our kids science and math scores. How can we improve our science scores when asshats don't believe in it?

        I didn't say US kids are dumb. I didn't say anything about the public school system.

        Go have fun creating straw men somewhere else.

        And, I don't like you saying I said things I didn't say. So don't do that.
