  •  Just went to the POGO site (8+ / 0-)

and registered to get their e-mails in the future.  I'd never heard of POGO previously and am very happy to know they're watch-dogging our government.  I'll go read the full report in a few minutes.

The flagrant manner in which the revolving doors between government and various regulatory agencies whirl is appalling.  I think that the openness with which these events occur shows that there can no longer be any question that the U.S. government is owned by the wealthy elite and their corporations.  Our elections have now officially become a sham because our votes do not matter any longer.  The list of people just in the current government (not to mention those going back to Bush I and II, Reagan, and Clinton) makes it quite clear to we "peasants" that our "betters" can and will do as they please, and if we don't like it, well, that's tough.  One day the citizens will revolt and then, maybe, the offices of D.C. will be cleaned out thoroughly of the filth that inhabits them.

Now I'm going to go SCREAM but in my bathroom----it's 13 degrees here today with 16 mph winds and  a -3 windchill or I would open a window.

"A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more." - from the prophet Jeremiah

revolving for a stinking long time and now it's revolving in all of our agencies, our court system (corporate attorneys all over the DOJ and sitting in judicial appointments), so the fox is guarding the chickencoop everywhere.

Worse is that the powers that be know that we, the unwashed masses, are pissed, but limit action to the campaign tongue boogie they use to lure votes.  Their promises are as vacant as the enforcement of those few regulations that still exist.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.
