    I'd like to know where some of your data come from. My understanding is that the cost of health care premiums in Massachusetts is high, but pretty much in line with that in other northeastern states, such as Maine, but I could be looking at the wrong sources.

    Also, here's an interesting quote from a Boston Globe news story, ". . . Massachusetts is among the least expensive states when considering the proportion of one's income required to pay for health insurance (and Arkansas is among the most expensive)."
