    or, 30 years later, the man.  The only thing that seems scandalous about this is the fact that unlike the Borjas or the Medicis, Domenici feels compelled to call his affair and the resulting birth a "mistake".  A person is not a mistake.  That bugs me as much as calling a person "illegal".  

    Pro-choice means pro choice - and if a woman becomes pregnant and brings the child into the world, that kid's not a mistake. And she deserves support, not shaming.

    I don't care much one way or another about Domenici and his angst or regret, and I'm with you - it's a non issue. Things were more honest back in the Renaissance, when even Pope Alexander VI (Borja) had children with mistresses and freely admitted paternity.
