    too averse to agreeing to a one-term "deal", given her age and other accomplishments in life, leaving the even-more important 2020 election to someone younger and more liberal (with any luck.)

      i'm guessing either would look at it as an eight year commitment. but there are some terrific potential runningmates who would be in their primes eight years later.

        Doing things for the benefit of the greater good of the Party as a whole seems to be a lost art among the top Dems lately, to be sure.
