  •  PACs are nothing new (4+ / 0-)

PACs have been around for a long time and are not inherently bad.  Russ Feingold currently runs Progressives United, which is also a political action committee.  Anything that calls itself an "action fund" is a PAC.

The Citizens United ruling allowed for labor unions and corporations to take money from their treasuries to fund political campaigns.

Super PACs, which arose after the Citizens United ruling, can accept unlimited donations (from individuals, corporations, and unions).  The unlimited funding is the problem.

hardly makes Warren "just like any other politician."  Her work so far is evidence to the contrary.

The Constitution can only be amended, and new Supreme Court Justices confirmed, by politicians who win elections.

Unilateral disarmament by being too pure to fundraise is not a strategic path to electing enough progressives to change to a less corrupt system.

There's no such thing as a free market!
