    WalMart and other big businesses rarely even get charged, let alone fined or sent to jail, but let an impoverished worker steal a bag of Oreos and she's going to the slammer.

    It's not that she didn't commit a crime, it's the fact that thousands of petty offenses come with plenty of jail time for people who can't afford a defense but the fat cats coast almost every time when there are millions of dollars involved. In fact, in the investment business you can count on a huge bonus for stealing the most money.

    The entire justice system is aimed at the poor who can offer the least defense and this case demonstrates that with laser precision.

        influence on the fact that justice in our country is not fair and balanced? You think it's random? You think the fact minimum wage is so low is random? You think the fact that a handful of people at the top can basically steal the profit from the effort of hundreds of thousands (millions?) of workers worldwide is random?
