  •  Mail order clergy? (none)
If you get an ordination certificate and card from some mail-order or internet 'church', will that count? I know lots of people who are now 'ministers' because they wanted to do a marriage ceremony for friends. I used to have one myself, from the "Church of Gospel Ministry" in Chula Vista, California. If I recall correctly, it was advertised in Rolling Stone magazine.

But I still got a card and certificate that identified me as 'reverend'. And the ID card passed muster to get me into a dorm at an all-girls Catholic school. But that's another story.

Seems this route might be a good one to take, but I don't know what the law reads.

"Don't play the rumba, and don't play the samba, 'cause papa loves mambo tonight!"
