    Ms. O’Brien, who is well-known for CNN documentaries like “Black in America,” said Thursday that she would form a production company and continue to supply documentaries to CNN on a nonexclusive basis. She’ll also make them for other television channels and for the Web.

    I'm glad she is.  I don't like putting all left-leaning journalists in one place.  It's a good thing to put most of the righties on fox because it marginalizes them, but I don't want that to happen to those on the left.  If MSNBC would put her in a prime slot, then maybe, but I don't see those spots opening very quickly.

      She could go to the new Al Jazeera America (ex-Current TV), or PBS, or even regular NBC News, some of whose personnel seem happy to appear on MSNBC now and then. Or, she could produce documentaries!;^)

      Just so long as she doesn't disappear. I think the last time I actually watched anything on CNN, it was one of her docs.
