It's as proven as it's ever going to get. Of course you can't prove a negative-- but at this point there's stronger clinical evidence that breastfeeding prevents implantation than that hormonal birth control (including Plan B) does.

Anyone could make up anything and claim it might hypothetically prevent implantation-- but since you can't prove a negative, no one could absolutely finally with no uncertainty prove that whatever you made up didn't ever, ever, ever, even once, interfere with implantation. Like this: I think riding bicycles interferes with implantation. I think artificial sweeteners interfere with implantation. I think kayaking interferes with implantation.

I'm sure I could come up with a plausible physiological mechanism if you gave me a few minutes, and then we could get some ignorant assholes all excited about the immorality of bicycles, artificial sweeteners, and/or kayaks.

    •  But of course that is just an excuse as what they (0+ / 0-)

really want is to punish "immoral" women.  Hell, they would probably make unwed expectant mothers not only be required to use natural unmedicated childbirth but take Naloxone/Naltrexone (an opiate antagonist) which will nullify the effect of Lamaze, hypnobirthing and other such techniques.  Yes, they are that evil and sick.

You have watched Faux News, now lose 2d10 SAN.
