I'm planning a crime - First thing I should to do is post the details on effing Facebook?

Schmidt was released from prison in 2003, after 13 years of incarceration in Ohio following a homicide conviction for shooting and killing a man during a traffic stop.
Was he a cop? Did he shoot a cop? What's up with the "traffic stop?"

Schmidt, an ex-felon who is described as a suspected white supremacist, was indicted in January on weapons and counterfeiting charges. Authorities suspecting Schmidt of trafficking counterfeit goods conducted a search in December of his house in Ohio, just outside Toledo, as well as at his business, Spindletop Sports Zone in Bowling Green

Aside from the “hit list,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio says law enforcement agents found 18 firearms, body armor, high-capacity magazines and more than 40,000 rounds of ammunition during their search. The agents also discovered evidence of Schmidt’s ties to the neo-Nazi movement, according to court documents.

Among his arsenal, Schmidt was in possession of a Stag Arms AR–15 rifle, an Armalite AR–10 rifle, a Remington 870 Express 12–gauge shotgun, a Winchester M94 30/30 rifle, a Winchester M190 .22–caliber rifle, a Russian American Armory SAIGA 12–gauge shotgun, a Federal Arms Corporation FA 91 .308–caliber rifle, an Eagle Arms 5.56–caliber rifle, and a Sturm–Ruger .375 magnum pistol.

The attorney’s office filed 176 indictments against Schmidt, who served prison time for a 1990 conviction for manslaughter, for violations of federal firearms laws – with the average sentence being more than six years in prison.

      •  That .308 FA rifle is worrisome. It's a 'battle (0+ / 0-)

rifle'.  A .308 round isn't going to slow down very much for body armor.

muzzle-loading single-shot musket at the ready. It's optional to bring a wood case of British Trading Company Tea for dumping in the waters of a port.

Your County's top leadership will be sending for you and directing you to where the county's citizen militia form up, are inspected, and drill and practice.  Your freedoms and liberties to work that 40 acre farm with a mule and a plow will sort of need to wait until these drills are done.  If deployed, expect to have to hire some hands to help do the work for you.

At least that's what I'm tempted to offer to such righteous protesters when it's too late at night for me to think straight.  I'd wonder aloud how they'll feel about drilling alongside with The French or the Native American sympathizing warriors? Maybe some black freemen and even some hispanics will be mustering along with all these.

Hopefully we'll be rising to the challenge of how to answer this question.  The safety of so many may depend on how we do this.  We could use a 21st Century version of Common Sense...maybe include consideration of the global warming threat to continued human existence. Carbon and Methane are the two greatest invaders of our air space (and globally) and the added moisture and energy introduced into the cycles of storm generation make them vary even more and go bigger more often than before.  If we want to see our kind of Freedoms and Liberty (and rule of Law) to last beyond 2050, we need a real revolution now.

It is also known as the 7.62 NATO--yes, it was developed as a military cartridge.  The 7.62 NATO/.308 is a derivitive of the 30-06 cartridge, which was developed for the U.S. Military (caliber .30, 1906), which also happens to be the most popular hunting caliber in the U.S., and has been for over a century.  For a bit of trivia, the .308 is a shortened 30-06 cartridge.  The 30-06 was the cartridge for the M1 Garand--the "assault rifle" of WWII, as well as the 1903 springfield, which the Garand replaced.  The M-14 replaced the Garand and it was chambered for the 7.62 NATO/.308, and was replaced by the 5.56 NATO/.223 with the M-16.  All were "assault rifles", from the bolt action 1903 Springfield to the semi-auto Garand to the auto/select fire M-14 and M-16.

the lune was shooting at people who are wearing body armor (swat or police), my guess the 'battle' is already contained and likely going to be over pretty soon .... just saying
