Please tell me you are kidding.

Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?

    •  Okay, I know he did not write this letter. But he (7+ / 0-)

has allowed the use of it to be marketed by the DNC in this manner and it irks me.

That does not mean I will vote for a Republican or that I do not admire the President and believe in all that he fights for. I support this President.

If I didn't, I wouldn't have been ticked off about this mailing.

You may be taking this whole rant a little too seriously. It bugs me when anyone treats me like a gullible fool, it is a minor irritation in the greater scheme of life. But it is an irritant. That is all.

unless it's meant to persuade those who read it that it is, in fact, from the President?

Isn't that deliberately misleading? And if it's easy to tell that it has nothing to do with the President then perhaps it should be signed "Not Barack Obama". Then we could have a good laugh at the marketing ploy. And then you'd recognize that donations would drop off because it would be clear that it's not from the President, which is why the deception is there in the first place.
