  •  Wrong - try again. (0+ / 0-)

I've never said I thought the police were correct OR that Hammer was correct. I said we didn't know.

It was implied for all to hear. A call for an objective review of the "facts"--"facts" which by their nature can and will never be truly objective--is a classic means by which those who support the side of injustice try to undermine the case that supports injustice having been done, while pretending to be unbiased.

It's literally no different from the way in which the fossil fuel industry has tried to discredit the theory of human-caused climate change, or creationists have tried to discredit the theory of evolution. Hey, the "facts" aren't all in so let's not jump to conclusions!

      Nice company you keep there.

      •  You sound like Jeff Sessions (0+ / 0-)

Let's just not concern ourselves with the facts when they're inconvenient.
        Yeah - that's it. Brilliant.

        •  And what "facts" might those be (3+ / 0-)

especially given that you started this whole "let's wait for the facts to come in" sidetrack? I believe that you just tipped your hand there, my friend.

I don't know how people can be this dishonest with others, especially when called on it. Lawyers, cops and politicians do it all the time, so it's hardly news, but I still don't get how people can do it and live with themselves. Is it all a game to them that ultimately has no real meaning--or self-preservation?

And what does it do to their inner selves. Nothing good, I'm sure. There are few things more corrosive to one's mental well-being than deliberate and sustained dishonesty. Good luck with that.

Oh, and you're wasting your time here as no one's buying your "Aw shucks I'm just trying to be fair and objective" shtick here. Save it for Fox & Friends.
