So, I guess, if Rick is planning to stay in Texas, he may rethink it. If he's planning to go to Iowa, probably not.

Isn't he past his expiration date in Texas?

term-limited, if that's what you're asking, so Gov. Goodhair can run again.  Whether he can win or not is a separate question.  But I must tell you:  there are a lot more rednecks in Texas than Hispanics who vote for Democrats.

        •  Wow, that last paragraph is (3+ / 0-)

          an eye-opener:

he Texas Department of Public Safety has released the latest figures on Perry's taxpayer-funded security detail's travel costs — a headline-grabbing nearly $800,000 from September through part of November alone, with the bills still rolling in. Less noticed: Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and Attorney General Greg Abbott also had (much smaller) security costs for the time period Each was accompanied by security on several trips, all of which were in Texas except for one trip to South Carolina by Abbott. Their totals: $5,511.47 for Dewhurst and $4,654.46 for Abbott.
