    burnt out. The always make me think of one of my favorite Beatles songs. I didn't know, until you inspired me to look it up, that Paul McCartney wrote it in response to the rising racial tension in 1968. That, I remember well.

    Here in Cotter, Ark., it's 56 and may even rise a bit. Even the ice on the north is gone now, and the buds on the trees have kept growing. Just as I opened your diary, a bald circled over the river several times. Couldn't get it in the view finder of my camera, so I'll try the little screen next time.

      of a lot of it today. If we get similar weather tomorrow it should be about gone by tomorrow night. They are saying we may get some rain tomorrow and that will help get rid of the snow plus we need the moisture too so it's all good.
