  •  As much as I love peas, and I do, I never got the (6+ / 0-)

taste for mushy peas.  You'd think I would, but nope!  I prefer fresh or frozen.

And at the risk of being accused of mint blasphemy, I prefer the Americanised mint jelly.  It's really apple jelly with mint in it, thus sweet, rather than savoury.  But it goes down a treat with lamb!

Am I evil for being this sick, and this hungry at the same time?  Or just confused?

    •  You have been driven insane by the evil pea. (6+ / 0-)

Save yourself before the carrot catches up with you, but don't trip on the banana peel during your flight to safety.

      •  Carrots are OK, as long as they are raw. As for (3+ / 0-)

banananananas....they're like so many other fruits and veg..they just don't taste the same as they did years ago.  If we could grow them locally, that would be an option, but they're picky buggers!  Want to grow in the tropics.

I saw what you did with that banannananana peel.  Watch it!

but for many years I've suspected that carrots abet peas in a plot concocted to make us think the other one tastes better.  If that's the case, it's been a MAJOR FAIL.

Also, in my family, raw baby carrots were used by children  to stick in their ears, as an accompaniment to sticking peas in their nostrils.

Bananas..?  Let's not even go there...
