  •  "makes you stronger." Tell that to all the (11+ / 0-)

    sufferers of terminal cancer.

But there's very little actual proof chemicals cause cancer. Sure you can kill off a bunch of rats in a lab, but proving direct cause and effect in humans is another matter. Even given the fact that most children born today are prenatally loaded with them.

It is clear that childhood cancer increased significantly from the early 1970s to the early 1990s, rising about 1 percent each year during those two decades. Since the 1990s, rates of childhood cancer seem to have leveled off, but there is no evidence of a decline back to pre-1980 rates. The reason for the dramatic increase in childhood cancers during the seventies and eighties is still unclear. But many researchers feel that genetic factors and improved diagnosis fail to explain it, making environmental factors the most likely cause.

We've poisoned the planet, and species will be suffering the consequences for generations to come. We deserve what we get, we want our comfortable and spoiled lifestyles, but the dolphins and whales?

    Sheesh, what a mess.

Physics is bulls**t. Don't let them fool you. Fire IS magic.

Sure  we want easy comfort but it's not like "we" know the price in toxins and lasting dangerous impact.
The bad things are sort of invisible and anyway hard to prove and anyway lied about.
Even the spoiled among us wouldn't chose to poison our babies and our own selves. It's easier to believe the lies and mock the tree-huggers

Not so much the spoiled but evidently the greedy. The corporations that do know and work to hide that so it can continue

But as bad as we are even if we deserve it for the blind eye we turn, the willing disbelief... we are born with Original Innocence and our babies don't deserve it any more than the dolphins and whales.
