    because 33rd seems awfully arbitrary for the Southeast. SE could be 39th (now Cesar Chavez Blvd.) or 50th or 52nd or, if you put Mt. Tabor in the inner SE, then whatever the other side is...68th? 70th? But I'd still go for 82nd. That's a different world.

    I seem to recall that the registration for the House district where we are is something like 64-9 Democratic, with the adjoining district to the north 68-7 or something ridiculous like that. Every once in awhile we'll talk about moving, then we remember that anyplace we go to would be almost guaranteed to be more rightwing than here....unless it's Iceland.

      I don't live in Portland, only did for about 6 months 7 years ago, and that was in Sellwood.  The rest of my life has mostly been in Clackamas County until college in Eugene, and since then, after a brief return to Clackamas County, I've been in Tigard/Tualatin.
