  •  Ask how many people are shot with their own (4+ / 0-)

gun after it's been taken from them?

Also ask about he odds of someone in your household committing suicide if you have a gun versus if you don't.

You can also see if he really knows his stuff: ask him if he knows how many people get shot every year in the US and how many of those die?

Then they came for me - and by that time there was nobody left to speak up.

Why ask?  You have no idea how many people have been shot with their own gun by an assailant.  There's no data.

      •  That's why it is a good question. There should be (0+ / 0-)

data, but some organization that goes by 3 letters got some lawmakers to make it so that this data is not available.  I wonder why?

While there is no data, I am sure we can find many more cases where a person dies by their own gun than cases where the good guys stop bad guys with a gun.

Hold on.  Let's go back to when you were making shit up.  Why did you bother?

Oh, so you don't have data because of a conspiracy?  Can you point to the statute or statute that forbids federal research into firearms injury?  Are the states too hard up to kick a million or two in order to the study the issue?  Rosenberg's shop cost $2.6 million to run in 1996; are you telling me Mayor Bloomberg's too strapped for cash to continue the effort?

Seeing that if it bleeds it leads, I'm sure you can find many more reports on gun violence than doggy birthdays.  Of course.  That doesn't prove anything other than that media knows you too well.  But don't let that bother you.  Continue making shit up; it weakens your cause considerably and that's good for everyone.
