    That's the one I was going to mention also. I reread it a couple of years ago; it's a bit easier the second time. Oh, and besides being challenging and mind-expanding, it's charming and frequently entertaining.

    I'd also recommend his Le Ton beau de Marot, which is about the problems of translation, particularly poetry, and also about his love for his late wife.
