    Thomas Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow,something about pies, erections and WW 2. Had a class on postmodernism back in 1985; pretty much turned me against all fiction and I have not read a novel since.I read a couple books a month, all nonfiction. Wait, let me throw in Absalom Absalom too, and anything else by Faulkner except The Bear. Didn't even try to mess with Finnegan's Wake. life's too short.
