My 3-phase power course was taught by a very long winded professor who talked right up to the bell and past it.  And then I had 10 minutes to get to my next class several blocks away in the middle of winter in Ohio.

And my O-Chem course lectures were given by an Indian professor with a very thick accent.  The labs were smelly and also expensive, because you can't get that black goo out of the bottom of a florence flask at the end of class and you have to buy another one.

I kick myself for not buying my own taper kit when I had the chance. It was a month's rent at the time.

My quant course was taught in English by a prof with a thick German accent who stood at the board, talking to it, with his back to the class the entire lecture.  He filled the board with notations using his right hand and literally erased behind himself with his left as he went along.

Oh -- and this was all done in an auditorium that sat 300 in the days w/o monitors scattered about the room.

Is it any wonder. . .?
