    ...which is not surprising, but should probably be corrected: the delighted cheers of what few tea partiers they could bus in for the publicity stunt, it was business as usual for the NRA.
    OK, now I'm not calling that a lie, but would:
    Albany, N.Y. -- National Rifle Association President David Keene rallied thousands of gun owners and hunters on the Capitol steps today to urge them to not back down in their fight against some of the country's strictest gun laws.

    "I'm here today because of you and the rights you have," Keene said to a crowd state police estimated at 5,000, the largest Capitol protest in years, according to many longtime Albany watchers.

    Here's a hint: Anyone who thinks that the only people opposed to reactionary stupid new gun laws like New York's are "a few tea partiers" is lying, if only to themselves.

    Things are more like they are now than they've ever been before...
