    that had been transported and stored. Safe enough for an hour or two outta the cow, but much further than that... way too sketchy. Stuff'll make ya sick eventually.

      sold very locally, by farms with dairies on-site.

      The milk goes straight from the cow to a chiller to get it down under about 38F as fast as possible.

      It would then be skimmed to remove a lot of the cream, then bottled or bagged.

      Provided it gets to your fridge quickly, you are good to go.

      The key to this process is good husbandry, cleanliness in the dairy, and regular testing of the herd.

      I hope that the quality of debate will improve,
      but I fear we will remain Democrats.
