  •  Nothing makes me happier than (14+ / 0-)

hearing Mitt and Ann tell us over and over how they had no idea how badly they were about to be crushed on Election Day.

On Election Day? Can you imagine being so disconnected from reality that these jackasses thought they were going to be elected? That makes me very happy.

And their Mormon God is not to be questioned. If only they believed harder...

        The White Horse Prophesy.

Mitt Romney believed, or was taught, from an early age that he was the One Mighty and Strong who would arrive on a white horse to save the Constitution when the country was hanging by a thread.

Mormon theology prophesied by Joseph Smith in 1832, and Romney believed (believes?) it applied directly to him.

        Arrogance?  Delusion?

Thanks God, says I.  Thanks God.

    •  What amazes me is that... (8+ / 0-)

...their fan-base still thinks of Mitt as a brilliant analyst and manager.
A clue:  if you're so completely wrong about something as simple and obvious as the results of every poll but your own, what are the odds that you're right about any of the tough stuff, such as the economy, the environment, taxation, the budget, crime, war, international relations, education, energy, world trade...

      •  Put it this way, (0+ / 0-)

in Iowa, they went into election day already down by about 130,000 votes, and they didn't even know it because they made the elemental fallacy of treating registered independents as swing voters.  Why? Because they wanted to believe that.  Oh, and they got the Register endorsement.

        Difficult, difficult, lemon difficult.
