    people in the tech sector were Rockefeller Republicans, now they are all almost universally Democrats with a small but noticeable number of Libertarians. I come across very few hardcore conservatives under 40. Heck a number of the folks I meet under 30 are to my left!

    I also have noticed that other science related fields like Doctors have started to move leftwards. It's very hard to be party of science denialism and creationism, and also court science/tech people.

      The suburban country club republicans may be figuring out that the super rich aren't keeping a place open for them, and that a doctor  doesn't make much money without solvent middle class patients
