Somehow it seems so contrdictory, for these radical rightists who claim to be for private enterprise and capitalist ideology would turn down money just because they dont like whose lips lock and whose hands touch in thier establishments.

I wish I could start a store in America.  It would be for all of the disinfranchised people.  Those of us with sorted ethics and morals, like loving who we want, or wearing what we want, or worshiping how we want...and so on.

In fact, I can start one of those stores right here...because in all honesty, we are no better.

The right is so caught up in their fantasy that they are the supermen from one of Ayn Rand's novels that they forget that we are free to take our money elsewhere. Real economies are demand-side.

If people take their money elsewhere, then these malls will feel the pinch.

have long been used as a sop to compensate for personal privacy and self-determination being denied. People get to own stuff so they won't notice they're being deprived of their human rights.
It's an ownership society, as Dubya said. Think what a clever ploy convincing millions to lock themselves into their own cages is.

We organize governments to deliver services and prevent abuse.
