the competition, I think that's probably part of why they run the contest through Facebook. FB knows you wherever you are on the net.

That's what the world has come to - one Facebook account, one vote!

Please vote for Purple Mountain Institute to win a booth in the Netroots Nation13 Hall Contest

dummy FB accounts are a problem with no easy solution. But the advantages of running the contest on FB far outweigh the disadvantages.

Please "share" the contest on your Timeline so all your FB friends will see it. I put the link on my page with the following comment:

Please support the Purple Mountain Institute. They're a small nonprofit organization that's doing great work with veterans. They teach an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class to veterans for free. MBSR was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn of UMass Medical School and has been scientifically validated as an effective tool for relieving the suffering resulting from trauma.

Did I mention that PMI offers these very helpful classes to veterans and their immediate family member for free?

The visibility of a booth at the convention will help raise their profile and assist in their fundraising efforts.

To help them out, click on the link and scroll down the page. Then just click the "Like" button. That's it! They just need your vote.

Please help them help our veterans.

Reforms come from below. No man with four aces howls for a new deal.
