      It's possible that a jury could convict him. I don't think the case is that strong but then again, lots of people thought the State of CT's case against Michael Skakel was not strong, yet he's serving 20 to life. It's a pretty weak case, especially as to Second Degree murder, but it's impossible to predict what a jury will do, if the case gets that f ar.

        the judge could still set aside the verdict for lack of sufficient evidence.  The same could happen on appeal.
