First, what possible impact could Coy's genitals have on either other students or their parents?

And second, what's all this about the bathroom?  In all my years of using public restrooms in schools, churches, gas stations, supermarkets, theaters, etc., I have never once seen the genitals of a fellow user of those facilities, and this includes my entire childhood.

I'm reminded of something exceptionally stupid and obnoxious my father said about the Equal Rights Amendment: he didn't want to have to see a woman changing her sanitary napkin when he was using a public restroom.

My mother and I gaped at each other, speechless, and finally managed to say, in unison, " I have never seen anyone do that!"
