    ... lest I be accused of exclusionism.  Non Jews also have neshama, so they aren't left out of the concept.  The Jewish version of neshama differs from that of non Jews, though, just as different cultures vary.

    And even our dogs and cats and horses and goldfish (and the pet duck out in my pond who craps on my porch every day) have their own version of the Divine spark called the ruach.
