    be some pain no matter what.  I hope it is minimal.  

    I share the same worry.  

    I don't believe the republics will accept any kind of "deal" that won't hurt us badly
    It may be a choice of poor options: domestic sequester vrs. chained cpi and revenue.  So long as Obama and Dems demand significant revenue through loophole closing, the chances of a "deal" are less.  

    Time will tell.  I think this will play out over the next few years.   But I can't predict the future.

    Any deal requries Republcian conservatives (there are no moderates) and Democratic progressives (the almost 100 votes in the House and key Senate votes).  Hard to put that deal together, which is why we have the sequester.
