    but my dream candidates would be Peters for the Senate and Jennifer Granholm to run again for Governor.  It's a different economic world than it was in 2010, and she certainly must feel that she has some unfinished  business to take care of.  Also, after all the RTW and other bullcrap that Snyder has foisted on us, I feel that the state is ready for a more liberal governor.  Hansen Clarke to run for MI14, Peters' seat, Jocelyn Benson for SoS, and I hope that Gretchen Whitmer will run for AG.

        unless Wikipedia is mistaken on that point.

        I'd be happy to see Granholm return in some capacity but it appears Governor of Michigan and President (not that she'd be politically viable anyhow) are the two doors that are closed. (not US-born)

        If she's living in California now, she may have options there that could be developed, or appointment in the Executive branch.
