for Michigan definitely, I think that's actually an upgrade to the Senate as well.

For NJ, my home state, I really like Frank Pallone compared to Cory Booker.  Booker is awesome with using the media but he's tied down with Wall Street as opposed to being someone who will speak out against them.  I think Pallone is the most likely to make a difference on questions regarding Wall Street.

He also is chummy with Wall Street and I actually don't mind him gravitating to the media but outside of a few social issues; I don't see eye-to-eye on him.

I also really like Rush Holt, he is one of the most liberal Reps. in the House but I think Pallone is the best one suited to beat Booker.

Screw his life story. I want good democrats who will fight for the working class and poor of this country.

        I want BETTER democrats.
Hell, when I think of the 2016 lineup for Prez, I am filled with despair.

        Better, please....

Imagine if Jesus had told the people to just offer their hunger up for the starving and listen to him preaching, instead of provisioning his audience with fishes and bread.

Calling it a miracle is just an excuse for his followers to distance themselves from such mundane concerns.

What we need is good public servants, not good orators. And, "where there's a will, there's a way" does not do the work. Neither will, nor good intentions, are enough to wrest sustenance from the earth. It requires manual labor.

to take on Christie perhaps? He might do better in statewide governance than in someplace like the Senate.
