I appreciate this and all the posts that you do.  I'm just so discouraged at this point.  Just got a request in the mail from the President and Nancy Pelosi.  They are both looking for support.  It seems that while our fight was going on everyone turned their back on us.  Barrack Obama was going to put on his comfortable shoes - but he didn't.  The national party didn't support us.  Now, John Chisholm has dropped the ball with the John Doe and we hear nothing from the FBI.  Our state has gone from a wonderful place to live to ranking among the top 10 that people want to leave.  We now rank number 1 in jobs lost to foreign countries.  Our beautiful north woods is about to be sold to the Chinese so that they can destroy our environment.  I hear from public workers that many of them support Walker.  Nobody seems to care.  When we have an election I encourage teachers and other public workers to get out and vote but they just don't have the time.  I walked a lot of miles and knocked on a lot of doors and nobody seems to care.  They still think Walker is their savior.  Another Friday is almost gone and no more news dumps.  Everyone just thinks that they'll put up with Snotty - maybe he isn't so bad.  At least we got those public workers and put them in their place.  Nothing more is going to happen except that Walker is gearing up to be our next president.  Heaven help us - nobody else will.

Remember we elected a fine progressive, Tammy Baldwin, to the US Senate with a big margin over the big time spending, lazy media, and huge spending against her.  It helped a lot that she didn't face a primary and could use all her funds in the general election and in getting early name recognition.

Democrats also received 200,000 more votes in Wisconsin than Republicans and only their gerrymandering gave them majorities in the state legislature and Congress.

We also had massive voter turnout in 2012 with around 80% turnout in Milwaukee.

It's easy to get bummed with the bad news, but the good news is really good.

The struggle continues.  Keep the faith.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.
