    from this biannual ritual, IIRC.

What do they know that the other 49 states don't? ;)

Somebody has to do something, and it's just incredibly pathetic that it has to be us.

if a habitat is flooded, the improvement for target fishes increases by an infinite percentage...because a habitat suitability index that is even a tiny fraction of 1 is still infinitely higher than zero, which is the suitability of dry land to fishes.

I wish one of the sleep centers (NJH?*) would do a study on what disrupting ~ 300,000,000 circadian rhythms twice a year costs in other problems. I thought about leaving out more than just the AZ population, just wouldn't mean much.

      * I am actually a patient of the National Jewish Hospital Sleep Center. Very good so far. Doctors who cover call have a lot of experience with this. Some deny it. The Children's Hospital here had a special seminar with a guy who worked in the field for decades, with NASA and the astronauts. Could not believe some of the comments by docs at UCH who were invited. Dissing any need to address the facts and learn about solutions developed from, um, scientific method.

Those of us who can't live in denial seem to be abnormal  in the modern world.
