    ... and the tradition or teachings or teacher that is of benefit for one person may not necessarily be helpful for someone else.  There is so much of value to be found in so many traditions and from so many teachers both past and present.

    And yes, our true nature is obscured by the constant stream of stories, thoughts, opinions, fantasies, nonsense, flattery, self-loathing, blaming, longing, grasping, clinging, attachments and aversions that the ego/self fabricates in place of the actual experience of now.

    That veil that separates us from our true Self is thin; it's just thought.  But the idea, the belief, that this collection of thoughts is who we really are is very persuasive; it has, after all, been at the center of one's life for a long time.

    Until it's not.
