and I manage quite nicely.  I do go to Earth Fare which is regional chain of of Asheville, NC.  I think they don't carry any food that has GMOs.  I don't feel that GMOs are terrible, but I do think that consumers have the right to know what's in their food.

Neither is agent orange. 'Top scientists' assured us that tobacco was harmless. Red dye #2 is very pretty and generally recognized as safe. Cyclamates are so so sweet. Have some! Put some saccharin on your GMO cornflakes. Yummy. Scientists said it's great! Only rightwingers or bible thumpers would disagree!

        •  You sound just like a climate change truther (0+ / 0-)

who attacks the scientific community by ranting about global cooling in the 70's.

Difference between agent orange back then, global cooling in the 70's, etc. is that the body of scientific knowledge was very limited and/or there wasn't consensus.

With GM there has been dozens of studies that pretty much say the same thing and there is wide scientific consensus.

As an aside, let me just say as one progressive to another that attacking the scientific community is unbecoming of a progressive.

          •  Your claims that the 'scientific community' (0+ / 0-)

            backs your position are odious.
