  •  Boo Hoo Hoo, Waa, Waa! (6+ / 0-)

I'm so sad I couldn't make it. I was rushing to try to make it, especially after I learned about the DST change.  Rushing is something I should never do.  Because I was rushing, I didn't put my Oxygen tubing away properly, hence I tripped on it, fell, bonked my head and cut my arm.  Then the phone rang.

Dripping blood from my arm, I answered.  It was Neeta calling to say the Ferry departure had been changed from the main Ferry Building to Pier 41 which would necessitate taking Muni from the Embarcadero to Pier 41.  This change required more time, and my need to check out my wounds made it seem impossible to go.

After realizing that the wounds were superficial, I decided to try to go to the Park Chow dinner, but alas, by mid afternoon, I was too tired, having had less sleep that night; and I needed to nap instead.

I'm so sad I didn't get to see you, meet gilas girl, talk to the side pockets about life on Sequoia Valley Road, apologize to pNUT for not bringing him a used copy of Gunther Grass' "The Tin Drum", sorry I couldn't bring smiley creek a  picture of all the animal pics on the walls of my bathroom, give hugz to silks, kid Kim about getting old, talking to nowaylackofbrain, asking boatsie about her new dear dog, and on and on, my darlings!

I'm so glad you had a wonderful time.  I'll get there next time, come hell or high water, come bonked noggin' or dripping arm!
