    The clip starts with a live recording of the composer playing the tune.  The tune itself was collected by Cecil Sharp.

    We got this tune in elementary school, with words including

    Greenly grow the rushes  budding is the willow,
    Spring now is here and all is fair.
    She dances on the South-Wind sweet and warm with may
    And a wreath of Hawthorn decks her hair.
    These are obviously connected to pre-Christian fertility lore.
