the Episcopal Church. The politics are right for them, but they just didn't connect. So they don't go anywhere.

While Democrats work to get more people to vote, Republicans work to ensure those votes won't count.

in the wrong sort of parish -- in the Episcopal Church, you can either go "high church" (which is a lot closer to the Catholics, with the "bells and smells" meaning chimes, incense and all the trappings) or "low church" (which is a lot more informal). Some will have a combination of both; the early service will be more of a "low church" experience, while the later service will be more "high church" with full procession, choir and such. There are even some Episcopal priests, especially those who came from a Catholic tradition like our current rector, who'll have a little more focus on the Blessed Virgin and other saints.

It can take a while to find a parish that totally suits your own character and needs.

I tried very hard to be in the Episcopal Church, but I couldn't do it.  Nothing against that religion, it just made me so sad that it wasn't close enough to meet my spiritual needs.  I tried after Barbara Harris was made a bishop but I ended up crying through the whole Mass.  I need my familiar rituals and the sacraments.
