    •  If you look at meanstream media and the tripe (5+ / 0-)

that's put forth by a chorus of Very Serious People and their media shills, NOT seeing a coordinated effort takes, well, a deliberate effort. And it's one step from "coordinated effort" to CT, which apparently sends one off the plank and into the shark-infested waters of paranoid insanity. Or something. But if you look at something like ALEC and how they push a state-by-state legislative agenda through subornation of everyone they can, is this not a conspiracy? Come on, just because it's "perfectly legal" doesn't mean it's not, call it what it is, plotting.

      •  Others call this by much simpler names... (5+ / 0-)

....like: "public relations strategy," or "government relations strategy." Then there are bloggers--many of whom are concurrently dealing with extreme cognitive dissonance these days--that refer to it as a "conspiracy theory." (The more facts I put out there, the more extreme some of the twisted comments get in my posts. I could write a damn postgraduate thesis on this sh*t! Truly!)
