    There are differences. There just will be. And I’m glad that in our party we have room for all of them. I think that's important too.
    For 20 years (and I think it was her mother in law who originated the whole thing in 1992), they've been sticking to the lie that the Dems wouldn't let Casey speak at their convention because he was anti-choice. (The real reason was that Casey had refused to endorse the Clinton/Gore ticket.) Every time the Republicans have the chance to nominate anyone even remotely approaching moderation, the "moderate" candidate always gets hir ass handed to hir and is out of contention within a week or two after New Hampshire, but not before the Republicans crow about how "we had a pro-abortion candidate and Bob Casey blah blah blah!" I'm pretty sure that's what LB was alluding to, but I can't decide if she was being extremely subtle about it, or if she just isn't as good at playing that particular game as more vocal Republicans are. But if nothing else, she certainly is sticking to the script.
